I am so excited you are going to be in our class!  My name is Jenny Johnson and I will be your second grade teacher at Oak Grove Elementary School.  I can not wait to learn more about you, but first I’d like to tell you a little about myself!  This will be my fifth year teaching at Oak Grove Elementary.  I have lived around this area since I was in second grade.  I attended college at Appalachian State University, go mountaineers!  I also recently completed my Master’s degree in Reading Education from East Carolina University.  I really love to have fun outdoors.  I like to snowboard, run, hike and go to the beach.  However, I also LOVE shopping! J

This year we are going to have a lot of fun!  We are going to visit the Cary Town Hall and Montague Pond.  We will study the weather, sound, life cycles, multi-digit addition and subtraction and pioneers!  There is so much more that I cannot wait to share with you.  I am so excited to start our school year together and learn more about you!
