Value Statement:

We believe that the success of our students is everyone’s responsibility.

Students learn in different ways. They have different capabilities, interests, and needs, and we are committed to accommodating these differences while challenging each student to achieve excellence.

We celebrate the cultural diversity of our population and take every opportunity to incorporate that diversity into our students’ social and intellectual development.

We are committed to maintaining a safe, caring, and supportive environment that is conducive to learning and teaching.

Learning is a collaborative effort among staff, students, families, and the community. Effective

communication among all is essential for our students to be successful.

School Goals:

By 2014, all subgroups of students will meet or exceed their targeted Annual Measurable Objective (AMO).

By June of each year, 95% of parents, teachers, and students will agree that Oak Grove Elementary is a good place to learn and teach.
